Before commencing any accurate work out on site, you need to know that the equipment you are using is not only working properly, but is also calibrated.
Imagine that you are half way through a job only to find that the pipes you are laying are falling at the wrong grade, or that when laying kerbs they don’t tie in. This can be very expensive to put right. Quite often this will be the result of poorly maintained survey equipment.
Before undertaking any accurate work it is advisable to check the survey equipment to ensure that it is giving the desired results before starting any work.
It is also advisable to have your survey equipment calibrated at least once a year, or before it’s going to be used if it has been stored for any length of time.
If you need your survey equipment calibrating then contact us on 0845 500 1250 or fill in the form below.
